Pachtgoedhof — Restaurant in Kruibeke

It is a very good concept for children. There is a lot of entertainment for children, and that is also good for the parents. Inside there is a safe area where they can play with other children. Outside there is an even bigger play area. Also some animals to visit.

The food was OK, but it wasn't very special. I ordered the rib eye saignant, but it was almost rare. No time to really send it back, because we were in a little hurry.

We did love that they have a lot of different dishes for children, and more than the 3 choices you find in other restaurants.

I found it very expensive though. For some drinks you pay more than I think they are worth. And even your main course. For the ribeye I paid 36 euros, and personally I didn't find it worth that money. You just get your meat, sauce and some salad on a plate. And as said, it wasn't very well...

It is a very lovely mini farm which is not far from my home. It is very clean and there are animals to be seen, or touch such as rooster, rabbit, horse, hamster, donkey, chicken, and sheep. It is interesting not only for children to visit but also for adults. They have a large outdoor playground, inside the restaurant a space where the kids can play too that made out of boat. They have a lot to offer here from Meat, Fish, Salads, Vegetarian meal, Home made ice cream. From hot and cold beverages. The price where too expensive but reasonable price. We visited Pachtgoedhof with a group of children and a newborn, and it was definitely a great find. The staff were friendly, the food options were plentiful (including vegetarian options, and they had an allergen table at the back of the menu). I thought it also rather amazing that a restaurant that can fit so many people doesn't limit the number of options for bigger groups. Big kudos to the kitchen staff.
