My wife arranged a Monday evening booking (closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays) about a week in advance requesting a vegetarian menu starting at 18:00. We chose to eat inside as we were somewhat sweaty from our walk when met by Madame. Chef created a fantastic four course meal (five course an option but four proved to be just right for us). The amusé bouche was above and beyond setting the tone for the whole meal, every course was innovative, delicious and beautifully presented. The home made sour dough rye and caraway seed bread was also two serves good, we normally avoid eating so much of it to preserve our appetites. Service was prompt and attentive without being intrusive. I cannot speak to the wine list, however we tried one of each of four house wines (by the glass) and each had been selected carefully. Chef found time to deliver the dessert personally, both were a great treat. The coffee came with a surprise mini creme brulée, the bill with a treat too. Small, cozy, intimate and lovely restaurant with a well designed space. Friendly owners, great chef and professional host. We booked a table for two and we ordered a vegetarian and gluten free menu and a normal menu without restrictions. We tried the 4-course and 5- course menus and we almost exploded with the 5-course menu! It was sublime but too much food to digest for us. We had dinner twice in different periods of the year because the menus change depending on the availability of the ingredients and our minds and palates were always blown away. Amazing!
