Sushi Dai — Restaurant in Merchtem

One of the best sushi experiences I’ve ever had!

Yesterday, I went to this restaurant to have sushi I had been hesitant to try it because of the reviews I read online but it was AMAZING!

First, as someone who has tried sushi in many different countries and restaurants, I can confidently place this place in my top three. The sushi portions are quite large, very filling, and packed with fresh ingredients. In addition to the sushi, I ordered miso soup, which was also excellent — rich, balanced, and comforting.

In addition, the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. I would also like to thank them for the pleasant conversation we had at the end of the dinner.

This restaurant is a hidden gem and it was a truly high-quality evening for me.

Food was ok, but as a first time sushi order you need to do your own research (missing a lot of information like pictures ingredients)

Also the boat packages do not come in a boat shape, this is nowhere mentioned and you should just know this apperently.

I understand that it might be harder to offer them for takeout but please put that kind of information on the website.

We came to pick up the order so it could have been done. And this was also what we were going for. We didn't know we had to specifically mention that we wanted it in a boat.

Lovely sushi and great delivery. The last time, we had to wait a significantly longer for our delivery due to a shortage of drivers which is never happened before as the deliveries are always punctual. We ended up picking up the food ourselves but as an apology from the chef, we got a complementary hot dish. Very kind...
