An utterly atrocious meal.
I've never left a bad review for any restaurant, but our experience at Dijk 69 was so bad I'm compelled to do so.
The food was appalling, my dish was so drenched and swimming in oil it was inedible.
The childrens pasta at €12 a plate had chilli or spice in it making it hot enough to leave it untouched by our 3 children who are not fussy eaters.
My partner's steak was grey, badly cooked and chewy. She didn't finish it.
When we complained about the food the waitress couldn't have cared less. She said it was how it was supposed to be. When I said that childrens menu shouldn't feature spicy food and I didn't want to pay for it, she said she would call the police!
We paid €103 for what was probably the worse meal I've ever had the dis-pleasure of half eating.

Bad experience. We went there with 4 adults, 1 child and a dog. The difference between waiters was incredible. One guy just wouldnt help us, whilst someone else was very friendly... We waited for over 40 minutes for our meals. We specifically asked to deliver the food for the child early, but it arrived as late as ours. Tables that arrived after us were served earlier... Our dog, an australian shepherd, so not the biggest dog was standing UNDER the table, and the impolite waiter was being passive aggressive about his presence. There is NO vegetarian option whatsoever. The croque monsieurs are premade because it is not possible to leave the ham out of it.... This is therefore not a restaurant. The mussels were good. The unexperienced waiter lifted a steaming hot pot of 1,5 kg of mussels above a 1year...

Nous avons été enchantés par notre visite au Dijk 69. Malgré des circonstances similaires à un autre établissement, l'équipe nous a accueillis avec une gentillesse et un professionnalisme remarquables.
Installés confortablement en terrasse (éclairée et chauffée), nous avons immédiatement été pris en charge avec le sourire. Le service était rapide, attentionné, et le personnel n’a pas hésité à répondre à nos besoins avec beaucoup d’amabilité.
Quant à la cuisine, elle était tout simplement excellente : des plats savoureux, bien présentés, et généreusement servis. Nous recommandons vivement cet établissement pour ceux qui recherchent une expérience à la fois conviviale et gastronomique. Nous y retournerons sans hésiter !
We waren ontzettend blij met ons bezoek aan Dijk 69. In vergelijkbare omstandigheden met een ander restaurant werden we hier ontvangen met vriendelijkheid en uitzonderlijk professionalisme.
We zaten comfortabel op het terras (verlicht en verwarmd) en werden onmiddellijk geholpen met een glimlach. De service was snel, attent en het personeel aarzelde niet om aan al onze wensen te voldoen met veel vriendelijkheid.
Wat de keuken betreft: die was gewoonweg uitstekend. Heerlijke gerechten, prachtig gepresenteerd en royaal geserveerd. We raden dit restaurant ten zeerste aan aan iedereen die op zoek is naar een gastvrije en gastronomische ervaring. We komen hier...
