Le Thai — Restaurant in Sint-Martens-Latem

Did a take away seeing this Thai restaurant. The order taking was easy and fluent although they didnt get at first the thai name (pad kra pao) but that's ok.

The dish is not the thai style which i was craving. I don't mind if it's thai basil instead of holy basil but this just isn't the original dish. There's various vegetables in it that didn't belong there (broccoli, young bamboo..even carrots), it missed the thai style of it being in minced meat and lacking chilis and thai/holy basil. Also the fried egg was missing! But not sure if that would be easy in a take away. A missed chance.

That being said, the interior looked lovely of this restaurant so the experience will be better there!

Zeer duur voor een afhaal-Thai. Voor dat geld eet je bij verschillende Thai's een volledige dagmenu. Bovendien heb je bij afhalen meestal minstens 10% korting wegens lager tarief BTW. Porties zijn klein. Kip met chili: goed van smaak, maar taaie kip. Dat is dan nog zonder rijst, waar je nog eens €6.00 moet voor ophoesten. Dus Kip met Chili-saus en rijst: €22.50 om af te halen!!!! Daarnaast als tweede schotel de duurste gebakken rijst met kip (€16.50) die ik ooit gegeten heb, een taaie kip en bovendien zo goed als smakeloos. Wie al wachtend een Duvel wil drinken moet daar €4.00 voor neertellen. Eerste en...

The food is simply delicious!! I love this place and I definitely recommend it, their dishes are the best ones I have...
