The food was ok (although not sure that all the meat was grilled "au feu de bois" as announced on menu) hence the 3 stars. But what made the cut was the stubbern service when it came to charge a supplement for the french fries even if it was written on menu that all the meat dishes were served with fries included. It's obviously not for the 2 Euro supplement on a bill of 245Euro but the reaction of the waiters saying that it was like this and pretexting that the owner was dead 12 months ago (rip) and no manager was around to go through this absurd situation. As if no one was thinking things through and given absolutely no concern about the remark addressed to them. Sorry but clearly a lack of consumer centricity for this once...
   Read moreLovely corner spot with fantastic meat options. I had the steak tartare which was really good. Sit outside as it is a great relaxed spot to people watch while having one of their great selection of Belgian beers.
Only negative was the slow service. The waiters and waitresses were lovely but it took one hour to get a menu and then they never came back! So I ordered food and second round of drinks at the bar after an hour and a half. Luckily I wasn't in a rush so it wasn't an issue but if I had been it wouldn't have been acceptable.

Belle rĂ©novation au niveau dĂ©co, superbe terrasse, open-grill dans la salle, encourageant. MAIS, dĂšs que vous ouvrez la porte, vous n'avez envie que d'une seule chose, c'est de repartir immĂ©diatement, tellement c'est bruyant!! Alors bien sur qu'une brasserie ce n'est pas un petit restaurant intimiste, mais lĂ il n'est mĂȘme pas possible d'entendre ton voisin de table. Ceci dit, l'endroit Ă©tait "boemvol", donc beau dĂ©but au niveau frĂ©quentation. La suite ce gĂąte. Belle carte allĂ©chante avec les beaux prix qui vont avec. Planche de charcuterie et petits poissons frits Ă partager Ă l'apĂ©ro, pas mal du tout. Le reste, trĂšs bof: une cĂŽte de bĆuf (Ă âŹ89!!!), pas bien cuite et trĂšs mal snackĂ©, viande tendre mais sans goĂ»t et surtout servie "flanquĂ©e" comme ça sur une assiette avec 3 feuilles de salade de cresson sans vinaigrette. Pour le reste, tout est en supplĂ©ment, les accompagnements, les sauces (industrielles), la mayo et surtout des frites pas dignes de ce nom... servir de telles frites en Belgique, ce n'est pas possible! SVP prenez des bonnes PDT belges, Ă©pluchez les, coupez les, double cuisson Ă la graisse de bĆuf et servez nous des vraies frites.
