This little tavern is the perfect place for a rest after a long day of hiking in the ardennes. You get a large and delicious variety of different beers, trappist-beer and other beverages. Jean is very kind and helpfull when it comes to choosing the right drink with you. Small plates and dishes are served as well as a good choice of vines. I would recommend this place to everyone who ever has the chance to visit Laforêt.

C'est l'un de mes endroits préférés pour profiter d'un feu chaleureux et d'une ambiance calme. Il s'agit d'une véritable expérience ardennaise, pas d'un lieu d'entreprise générique. Venez ici si vous voulez connaître les vraies Ardennes belges Ambiance calme et chaleureuse dans le petit village de La Forêt. L'hôte est très sympa et bavard. Une terrasse est disponible pour s'asseoir à l'extérieur quand il fait beau. Un vrai joyau caché dans les Ardennes 💎💎

Een kleine zaak in het centrum van Lafôret. Het ligt een beetje verscholen tussen de huizen. We hebben er enkel iets gedronken na een wandeling maar er worden ook kleine gerechten geserveerd. Orval wordt geserveerd in kleine glaasjes. Dit was de eerste keer dat ik soort glas zag. Ook al drink je niets of als de zaak gesloten is blijft het de moeite om eens langs te gaan. De tafeltjes zijn gemaakt van oude naaimachines.
