Eatalia — Restaurant in Wavre

Everything was great! Just a wonderful Italian restaurant in the beautiful town of Wavre! As we tried-and failed - to eat in a couple of other places without having booked in advance, we were hesitant whether or not we would be allowed in. That wasn't the case, though. We were greeted in French, but once I replied in English, the conversation continued in my prefered language. As we were shown to our table, we were accompanied by a waiter who could speak perfect English( we later found out he had spent 29 years in the Uk) whilst on the other side, another one was conversing in Italian with someone else. We ordered pizza and pasta, and the waiter brought them to our table within 15 minutes or so. Amazing experience, incredible and knowledgeable staff, and best of all delicious dishes were had. Walking in we were greeted with the delicious smell of the pizza being cooked. We were a party of 8, 3 adults and 5 kids. We were curious about the antipasta and the gentleman who served us gave us the best recommendation so we ordered burrata cheese, "crunchy Parmigiano", a mousse cheese, jacket Mozzarella, and Prosciutto slices, one had truffles. Great hospitality, wonderful staff and average food. They have a vast list of Italian food for the french pallette. We ordered two pizzas(Vegetarian & 4 cheese) and a portion of croquet. Both were not out of the ordinary. You'd end up paying two/three times more than you usually pay in smaller restaurants. Though I was very happy about the great hospitality the staff showered, I was equally disappointed of the food they put on my table.
