Never seen such rude staff

We booked a table outside for lunch at 1pm. Arrived on time, walked in, stood around several minutes, nothing, so we walked out to the garden. A man with an empty tray ran by and loudly told us to sit anywhere. So we picked a nice table in the shade, looking forward to their famous mussels.

We sat patiently, 2 staff were working the garden, walking by us several times without even seeing us. I walked back in to help myself to menus. And we waited. And we waited. It was quite warm, an offer of a drink would have been nice, but we didn’t exist.

After sitting there for 20 minutes, we walked out. I am not going to spend my money in an establishment where staff are so rude as to not even stop by and apologize for being busy. I do not intend to have an unpleasant experience and have to pay for it to boot.

This place is the worst I have ever visited. The new owners have no clue what running a business is about. We had to wait over an hour for our food (8 croque monsieur and 3 stoofvlees).
