Mixed Experience at Brood Bar

I recently visited Brood Bar and my experience was a bit mixed. While there were some positives, there were also several aspects that left me disappointed.

Let's start with the positives - the staff. The staff at Brood Bar were friendly, although somewhat shy. They were polite and accommodating, but their reserved nature made it difficult to feel fully welcomed.

The design of the place was visually appealing, but unfortunately, it gave off a cheap vibe. The ambiance seemed to lack a sense of sophistication, which took away from the overall dining experience.

Now, moving on to the food. I found it to be quite average. Nothing stood out as exceptional or particularly memorable. The disappointment peaked when I ordered the salmon salad. While the description promised a generous amount of salmon, the reality was quite different. The portion of salmon was disappointingly small, and it felt like the bar was cutting corners to save on ingredients.

Another significant downside was the state of the toilets. They were dirty and poorly maintained, which left a negative impression on me.

One aspect that sets Brood Bar apart is the self-service approach. While some may appreciate the freedom to serve themselves, I found it a bit inconvenient, especially considering the prices charged for the dishes.

In summary, my experience at Brood Bar was not as enjoyable as I had hoped. The friendly but shy staff, average food, and disappointing portion size of the salmon salad were all letdowns. Additionally, the state of the toilets and the overall cheap feel of the place left much to be desired.
