We have been coming here for several years now, and are always happy with the food and the service, as well as the cold beers! Miss Anita is super sweet and always happy to help any way she can. Beautiful grounds and they have a playground area for the kids. Always a pleasure to visit. Feb '19 - as good as always. Great food, good portions, great prices. Miss Anita always walks around and checks on everyone in the establishment to ensure their satisfaction. She had some great cookies this time too. Make sure you stop here. Aug-'19-Awesome as always! Fantastic breakfast with perfectly cooked eggs, great bacon, really good fried potatoes, fresh juice. Miss Anita, and her daughter Chrissy, were as welcoming as they always are. Finally left a Alabama T-shirt here! 11/24 - same great food and service. Had a...

Not sure what happened with our order. Although we arrived, were seated quickly and put in our order pretty quickly, our meals took over an hour. Everyone who came in after us were served and LEFT before our food arrived. Checked with the waitress after waiting 30 minutes and seeing 2 tables served that arrived after us. Was told ours was next, that they had had a 15 person table they had just served. Not so…3 other tables were served. Then told that our order was being taken care of by a different cook? Once the food finally arrived it was average at best. We were disappointed in the whole meal. Will not stop here again, no matter how...

I ordered a rice and beans meal and a fresh orange juice, unfortunately the rice and beans was hard and inedible. It was served with stew chicken and coleslaw, no plantain. The stew chicken wasn't that great and the orange juice was very sour. I went with a group of friends and we shared the same experience with our food. Sorry but this is the first restaurant I've been to in Belize with a failed rice and beans dinner. Also, with the steep food prices you are charged GST which is added to your bill! For parties of 10 or more such as my group, an additional 10%. We would have left happy if we at least...

Cheers Restaurant is on the side of the Western Highway, not too close to anything. Looks can be deceiving. Once you get inside of Cheers, it's a beautiful, welcoming, seat-yourself, breeze filled oasis. The food, bottled water and fresh juices are delicious and fresh. Served quickly and with plenty of varieties of Marie Sharp's local hot sauce. It's a little pricey for most meals you'll have in Belize, but still a great deal for most out of county travelers. The fresh sour dough bread that is sold by the loaf shouldn't be passed up!

Feb 2025 Back again. Signing shirts is a tradition. Feb 2024 We’re back. Found our shirt and had another great meal. Feb 2023 Passing through with a volunteer group headed to Camp Se Konsa, the only special needs Childrens camp in Belize. The fajitas were delicious. They offered us to try Soursop juice, which is a delicious local favorite. We left a Kansas City Chiefs football shirt to encourage other wine our team is headed to Super Bowl 2023.

We have been looking for a restaurant for miles and we saw this and decided to go in. I ordered the chicken tamale but they were out, but Marlette (I think that’s our server’s name?) came back and told me she had them make me one. My boyfriend had the high line burger. Great atmosphere and good food.
