Humo Restaurant — Restaurant in Cayo District

Food and drinks here were so good, I didn't want to stop eating. We arrived at an odd hour and only the appetizers were available. We ordered the pork belly bites, BBQ braised beef tips, and the dry aged beef tartare. The tartare was so good we ended up ordering a second one. We also drank the garden bubbles, orchard punch, and the guava glimmer. Food seems higher quality than the restaurant at the sleeping giant. The service was phenomenal and worthy of a tip even though they charge a 10% resort fee, and it's pricier than other restaurants in the country. We would definitely eat here again (and probably will). Definitely recommend sitting at the deck area, the view is amazing and you could watch fish swimming...

We stayed at Sleeping Giant and went to Humo for dinner one night, it was so amazing we had to go back for breakfast in the morning to see it during the day! For dinner we had a feast: papaya salad with blue cheese, beef tartare, risotto and tomahawk steak. Our server Wendy was great! For breakfast we had the banks breakfast and the Belizean breakfast bowl. Highly recommend everything! The view was so pretty and service...

Great food, atmosphere, and service! They have unique menu offerings for both drinks and food. The dinner began with a charred soft bread, we also ordered the fire roasted vegetables and corn ribs to share, our entrees were the coffee rubbed pork chop special that came with garlic mash and carrots, and the tomahawk steak with grilled leeks and potato.
