The "fileto" was the best fish I have EVER had in my 30 yrs as a pescatarian. The fish (spear caught hog fish) was delicious on its own, but the reduction and remoulade of fresh tomato on top was just extraordinary. Everyone in the restaurant ewed and ahhed over their dishes. Most people were regulars. My husband said his Fruit de Mar was just as he has had in Italy. And for the quality, it was a fantastic value. There were $$ in Google, but honestly this place was not more expensive than other places we've eaten here in Placencia. Highly recommend. No desserts, but they did have Grappa!

Legit scratch Italian food crafted by chef Simone. Victor was our waiter and he is very attentive. I highly recommend this spot for good Italian food. I gave it 4 stars for atmosphere due to the tile floors and hard ceiling making it kind of noisy in there. If the 4 top and 6 top tables have people it is a little noisy but the food and service more than make up for that. After our dinner the chef stopped by our table and we talked to him for 5 minutes or so. Learned how he came to stay in Belize and open this restaurant.

This gem of a restaurant is located within the Los Porticos property, so you may miss the, "this not to missed delight." Here is your chance to be transported back to Italy. The chef has captured the feel and taste of Italian cooking in every bite. Suggest making a reservation, this establishment can fill up without warning, as more permanent residents and tourists discover this pasta lovers, slice of heaven.

The food was gross, lacked flavor, pasta was cheap quality. No one enjoyed their meal from our party. The prices were expensive for what you received. I could make a better pasta at home. Appetizer sizes are tiny. The atmosphere sounded more like a bar than a nice restaurant to just sit down and enjoy food. The table next to us was a bunch of drunks making noise and screeching and hollering like they were not in a public setting. I’m not sure if the chef was their friend but he went over to them during that time enabling and encouraging their behavior. There were children seated in the room and we could plainly hear some adult conversations being spoken about between the chef and the table being rowdy. The conversations were sickening to be spoken so loudly around others. We do not want to hear that while we eat. After an almost unbearable and unpleasant meal, we receive the bill. We notice an error on it for the wine purchases because the wine we ordered was not that price. We ask the waiter and he said that he switched the wine for a more expensive bottle because they were out of the one we wanted. That was insane. They could have at least communicated that with us and asked if we still wanted it before making that decision and charging us for it. The wine he gave us was not even good so we would have preferred to at least choose a substitute that we would have enjoyed. The entire experience was negative and we would not recommend this restaurant to anyone with class and a taste for good food. I would not return or send anyone I know here to dine. One of the worst experiences we came across during our visit. Overpriced, underwhelming, and...

This is the place for fine dining. We made reservations for Valentine’s Day and it was outstanding. One waiter hustled all night. Kept us all with drinks, served our food hot, and the atmosphere was perfect. Temperature wasn’t too hot or too cold but air conditioning added to a comfortable dining experience. If I had a complaint it would be they did not have cannoli. This is a place not to miss if you are looking for a better restaurant. Our entire group enjoyed our meals. Great portion size for the price. We will be...
