Quarterdeck Restaurant — Restaurant in Stann Creek District

My husband and I came here for dinner from an airbnb down the road. We were 30 minutes early for dinner but the chef was kind enough to say that was okay and they would open the kitchen early. I had the coco Loco shrimp with grilled veggies and my husband had the chef's special which was creole shrimp pasta. By far the BEST meal we have had since being here! The fresh made/baked rolls, the shrimp ceviche, the bailey's mixed drink, coconut Loco, and special were all phenomenal. And our server was spectacular as well, very polite, kind, attentive. Truly amazing service and food. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Also, I have dietary restrictions and they were very happy to take them into account and wrote them on our ticket gor the chef. Truly cannot thank everyone...

Simply amazing. My husband surprised me by calling ahead to let the restaurant know our family was celebrating my birthday. The staff went above and beyond. First, they had decorated our table setting with flowers and balloons before we arrived. Second, they warmly greeted us, and attended to our every need. Third, dinner was spectacular. I had the chef’s special lobster that was wrapped and cooked in bacon. It was the best meal of our stay in Belize. Finally, for dessert, they went to the trouble of baking a gluten-free cake so that my celiac son could celebrate fully with us. If I could give Quarterdeck 10 stars, it would better describe the level of service this place provides. I called ahead and let them know it was my wife’s birthday. The call was pretty broken up due to cell coverage so I just told them to do something special, and did not really know what to expect. Wow. I was completely blown away. The service was better than I get at top restaurants in America, and they truly made my wife feel special.
