La Villa Lounge Bar — Restaurant in Cotonou

Lovely place but you need to go there with your A-game in French as the menu is in well, French.

The waitress who attended to us was helpful as she also spoke English. The meals are quite pricey depending on how you look at it.

Had pizza along with (really large) chicken and chips. The pizza was somewhat dry (I don't know if that's the idea). The chips didn't come with ketchup; it was served with gravey sauce and green pepper sauce...

We had a really bad experience. They took an hour and half to make some kebab when we explicitly told them we were in a hurry and we wanted something fast to take away. Then when we at last got the order we checked and noticed there was one plate missing. Would we have not checked before leaving we would have paid for a plate that we never got. Seriously it was crappy. The hunger got the best of us if not we would...

Serene environment. I needed peace and quiet due to being under great stress recently. Staff were helpful in explaining the menu, as i don't speak french. The menu has lots of variety. My plate was loaded when it arrived!!. It was a huge meal, and tasty as well!. Would definitely visit again if i ever come...
