Great Wall Restaurant — Restaurant in City of Sarajevo

The only one chinese food available with in-dining in Sarajevo at the moment.

I multiple times order fried rice with pineapple that I expect to be yellowish like Hong Kong style fried rice, but they have more brownish fried rice with lot of soy sauce. I dissapointed but have no other option to accept that. I will give up on expecting my yellowish fried rice to come in the future.

The taste is a bit unstable. Some time they serve perfectly delicious chinese food, but at other time the food can be so off that you wonder whether it is the same place where you eat before.

If you like tofu, they sell raw tofu too, so you can cook it with any style that you like at home. Just ask if they have ready stock. What a good news for...

Today I visited this restaurant with my family for lunch, walked in and there was nobody there not even staff NOBODY! bad feeling, chated with my wife and two kids standing there for more than 5 minutes, finally a man showed up behind a bar and not even noticing us after about 2-3 minutes I said DOVIDJENJA goodbuy and he answered DOVIDJENJA not giving a dam that we hit the door and left. Strange and mixed experience: in a rather drab ambient, semi-decent chinese fare, and very nice and polite service. The chicken with peanuts was not very good, the pangasius fish with vegetables was authentic and tasty, while tie-pan style veal with black pepper was excellent! The prices are rather high for Sarajevo, but the portions were generous and correct. Also: since the restaurant is situated in Muslim-dominant quarter, there were no pork dishes on the menu.
