Golden Hills Spur Botswana — Restaurant in North-East District

We ordered 2 espressos straight away, but what came looked like filter coffee. We had to return it and get what we ordered. When it came it looked good but was too weak for a double espresso. We then ordered dry red wine but they brought it in an ice bucket. We informed the waiter that red wine is served at room temperature. So he brought a fresh bottle but with ice on the side. Our glasses were filled to the brim 🤣 As for the ribs and wings they were great, but the steaks were not anywhere near the medium that we ordered. They were tough to cut with a lot of tendons. The sirloin tasted like it was cooked...

The food is standard, the franchise has got a good formula. The service is poor. I dont think they have a manager, perhaps a supervisor. The staff is ill-behaved, arguing in front of patrons, and generally talking too loudly. Granted I came when they were changing shifts and handovers were being done, but I could tell were poorly trained. Waiter encouraged me to eat fast and pay the bill to close her shift and get tip without asking if I was ordering coffee or dessert. Anyway, Francistown is small, few options, and spur is well off brand. So I'll see you again....

The service was great and the atmosphere was nice. The meal on the other hand was not good. I had a combination of lamb chop chicken, sausage and pork ribs with a greensalad. They were all covered in this thick not so tasty bbq sauce. I could not taste the flavours and seasoning of the meats. The sauce should be a option or served as...
