Mangue Restaurante — Restaurant in Região Geográfica Imediata de Barreirinhas

My friend and I went to this resturant twice in a row. First time, the food was delicious and drinks were lovely. Second time, I’m writing because I want others to have a good experience. We ordered drinks, crabs, green salad, steak and fries and grilled prawns. Our drinks came out slow but they were strong. My friends crab came out along with the fries but no steak. We also got our green salad which was ok. After waiting an hour there was no steak and no prawns. We asked and they said there was a kitchen error. The menu here is very varied which is great because I am lactose intolerant. We ordered a fish dish for 2 people which looked delicious. When it arrived it was clearly cooked with milk. The waiters confirmed this. I told them this was strange as it’s not in the menu (other dishes which have milk say clearly that they have milk) and all they told me was I needed to order something else. I ordered fried fish for 1. To be fair to them it arrived very quickly so we could eat together- however it ruined the meal as I didn’t want the plainest option from the menu. They also charged us for all of it so we ended up paying for 3 people. I would never go back to this restaurant....

Nice food, drink and atmosphere… however the experience overall was disappointing. First we waited 1 hour just for a juice and then we constantly had to ask if the food was coming. When we ordered desserts we waited another 30 minutes only to be told they didn’t have the dessert we had ordered.
