This place is so good!!! First of all the place is charming, there is a nice overlook but we mostly went at night so we couldn't see anything. Second, the food. Oh my god the food is delightful! We came here three times in a row and tried different things and not a single bad dish. The flavors are carefully paired, gorgeous gorgeous plates with every meal. The drinks were sometimes a hit or miss but overall really good for the price. For such a place it is not terribly expensive but it is so worth it!! Seriously this place is amazing and the service is incredible

Nous avons trouvés ce magnifique restaurant en regardant les avis et c’est bien la réalité, même si je pense que ce restaurant devrait être le premier car au vu de ses plats que nous avons eu la chance de goûter , car nous sommes venus tous les soirs de notre séjour , tout était sublime, tant par le goût des plats qui sont juste une folie parfaite que par le service des employés qui sont discrets et à l’écoute. Le cadre est Également superbe avec une vue sur la ville de nuit avec ses lumières comme des étoiles dans le ciel. Nous sommes donc venus tous les soirs pour avoir la chance de goûter à tous ces plats qui sont divins, tout les parfums et les saveurs sont là où il faut, subtile et envoûtant, en France un 5 étoiles ne les feraient pas rougir tellement la cuisine est savoureuse !! Si le guide Michelin existerait ici alors ils y seraient obligatoirement !! En plus d’une cuisine de saveur gastronomique ils sont aussi à la portée de tout le monde car les tarifs sont très attractifs, plat et dessert en plus de boissons pour moins de 50€ pour deux !! Incroyable ! Et que dire de la réception ou l’accueil se fait comme dans un grand hôtel et avec un sourire charmant et une proposition d’aide si le besoin s’en fait sentir. Bref allez y vous ferez chavirer vos papilles !!!! Et vous y retournerez sans aucun doute car rien n’est équivalent à des kilomètres autour !!! Simplement parfait et merci à toute l’équipe pour nous avoir fait partager ces plats divins !!

Eu queria muito ter gostado da experiência e poder dar 5 estrelas, e fico refletindo qual o nível de gastronomia da região para que tenham uma avaliação tao alta... Mas vamos por partes. O atendimento foi bem gentil, da chegada até a saída. Os drinks estavam ótimos, o bem tradicional da casa com manga era uma delícia e um com pepino também, ótimo. A entrada pedimos um ceviche que estava gostoso, mas sem sal. Os pratos principais pedimos um peixe com molho de camarao e risoto de coco. O peixe e molhoe stavam bons, mas o risoto era uma papa, compleeeetamente passado do ponto e sem sal também. O outro prato foi um mignon com arroz de queijo. No momento do pedido perguntei ao garcom se era arroz normal ou arroz de risoto, arboreo, ele confirmou e disse que era arboreo. Quando chgea o prato, arroz normal... 120 reais por um prato pequeníssimo, com um filé mignon com gosto meio azedo, minúsculo e um pouco de arroz normal?! Não dá. Eu não costumo pedir pra mudar o prato e eles me trouzeram um risoto, também empapado, totalmente fora do ponto. A sobremesa foi um petiti gateau que não estava molinho dentro como tem que ser, e o sorvete era de baixa qualidade. Por fim, conta de 360 reais e uma experiência muito baixa pro valor pago.

This restaurant is gorgeous, but our experience was not great.

A group of four of us were there last night. The service was very slow, and it didn't seem busy but it still took over an hour for us to receive our main courses from the time that we ordered them. Cocktails took at least 15 minutes too, for some reason. My girlfriend and I ordered the mediterranean octopus and the seafood rice lima peru. We got bad food poisoning from the shrimp or mussels, not sure which but definitely one of them. It kicked in about 2 hours after we ate the food, and we had a really rough night. I don't think the food was mishandled, but it may have been sourced from an area where the shellfish had a lot of toxins. Probably won't go back to this restaurant.

Bummer because the food was delicious, but the extremely slow service and especially the food poisoning ruined...

This has to be the best place in town ahead of casa da piedra across on the other side which was also very nice. However Sol na Cozinha is better, more sophisticated, much friendlier staff including our waiter Douglas, amaziing food and not at all overpriced, especially for good food lovers. Set in a very chic garden or indoor setting left to choice you will be torn between where you decide to sit and what to order......if you miss the opportunity to discover this diamond in the ruff I believe you'll miss out for sure! Totally 5 stars...
