The Seville Baker — Restaurant in Região Geográfica Imediata de Florianópolis

The Baker Seville (A Padeiro de Sevilha) is a great coffee shop where you really like to enter right from the beginning, since the facade of the building is very colorful and inviting you to get in.

The Café itself is based on self-service. So you will choose your pastry and your soda from the showcase and then you will have a seat. Soon after that the waiter will come and give you a bill for what you have put on your plate. At this moment you also could order a coffee, tea, or gelato or the like at the waiter, which they will bring to your table then. Or you order it later.

As for the table there is actually only one in the coffee shop, but it’s a very large and long-stretched one located in the middle of the room, where a large group of people and therefore also you easily can have a seat, except in rush hours probably.

The pastries range from salty to sweet and are therefore filled with sausage, ham, cheese, jam, chocolate, and I had a Goiabada, a piece of cake with jam of the guava fruit, then another pastry with banana and caramel, and a cookie with coffee and orange flavor.

We also took a pastry filled with cheese and turkey, then a pastry filled with cheese and ham, as well as one chocolate brownie. A nice Cappuccino and Guaraná mate (ice tea) as well as a Macchiato with steamed milk completed our coffee shop experience here at the Baker of Seville.

The prices at this coffee shop are quite reasonable here, so you have more the local experience, also when it comes to the customers who spend a while here at this nice Cafè.

The interior design of this place is cozy, giving this place a great atmosphere also for reading the newspaper or a book or the like.

Até então, tinha tido boas experiências. Geralmente frequento a unidade da SC 401. Hoje sofri um acidente enquanto ia até o toalete da unidade do centro. Uma funcionária completamente esbaforida abriu a porta violentamente, me acertando fortemente na cabeça. Fiquei zonza e olhei diretamente para o espelho, pois foi tão forte que achei que estaria sangrando. A pessoa então me disse "desculpa" e saiu. Um galo começou a crescer. Pedi para conversar com a gerente, que não estava. Uma outra funcionária tentou defender a colega dizendo que isso sempre acontece porque a porta "não dá visão". Eu respondi que haviam 2 problemas, a porta e a conduta. Deveriam ter ao menos perguntado, precisa colocar um gelo, aceita uma água? A funcionária ficou me olhando incrédula e disse que isso era normal, que todos ali ficavam se esbarrando. Mas veja, não foi um pisão no pé, foi uma portada no osso da cabeça que poderia ter consequências. Eu ainda disse que pelo tipo de estabelecimento esperava um pouco mais de cordialidade. Ela respondeu que aquela era uma das cafeterias mais baratas do centro de Florianópolis e que eu estava desinformada. O caixa foi a única pessoa que tinha alguma noção de atendimento, pegou a minha cobrança e disse que eu não seria cobrada. Agora, vou viajar com um galo gigante na cabeça enquanto as pessoas que atendem ali aparentemente vão seguir na mesma linha de pensamento, nivelando completamente por baixo um lugar bonito, bem decorado e com produtos deliciosos, mas com uma equipe totalmente...

It's terrible. I'm from Florianopolis and went to this place several times across the years. Nothing is good. I tried many types of food, pies, breads, pastry, soup... I never had a good dish on my plate. Today I asked a salami bread that was really salty and had not much salami (check photos, 2 and a half slices in a half bread, for 24 reais)

The only exceptions is the "Pao de queijo" which is unique and tasty even with a rubbery texture.
