While most restaurants in Morro are trying to cram in as many people as possible, Andina takes the opposite approach: tiny place, few staff, and the best food they can make. It’s literally impossible to get a table without a reservation: they simply do not accept walk ins! So do call ahead, best the day before or by 14h the day of.
The food, as many of the other reviews here attest to, is simply divine. We had lamb gnocchi and the grilled octopus and both were excellent. The caipi was one of the best we’ve had in Morro and made exactly to what we asked for. They don’t serve juice as it “interferes with the flavours of the food”, so I had sparkling water instead. Read moreEverything was incredibly special about this place. The moment you step inside, you know that you are in good hands and that it's going to be a special night. The place itself, the menu, the food, the uniqueness and the creativity of the plates, the flavours, wines, desserts... but of course, the most special aspect would be Irene who greeted us with her the warmest of smiles and made us feel very welcome. Big thanks and congratulations to her and her dear husband for creating this wonderful location. We tried to change our travel plans just to go once again to this place but in the we couldn't. Whenever we're back in Brazil, we will definitely spend time in Salvador to experience this...

The Filet Mignon, Pulpo and Lamb Antichuco very exquisite with the pulpo being the best I ever head. Soft and crispy at once. Also the caipirinha sagatiba is highly...
