B Vegan Gastronomia — Restaurant in Região Geográfica Imediata de Salvador

This is a terrific vegetarian restaurant in the Barra district of Salvador close to the beach front that has a nice selection of veggie burgers, pizzas, sandwiches and wraps. It also has a tempting variety of desserts including cakes, brownies and truffles. I had the falafel wrap with added roasted tofu and garlic sauce and the rustic fries. Both items were delicious and nicely seasoned. The service staff was friendly, efficient and understood some English - the menu was also available in English. There is both indoor and outdoor seating available and the restaurant has a casual and calm ambiance. I highly recommend this place to those that enjoy delicious reasonably priced vegetarian food served by courteous staff in a comfortable environment. I wanted to like this place, but it was really difficult.

The vibe of this place is sad and tired, kind of like the same feeling that I got from the staff when I was waiting to be served.

I ordered a falafel burger, which came out fairly dry. When I asked for more sauce because it was super dry, I was told that I would have to pay extra. It wasn’t expensive, but in principle extra sauce should be complementary.

Super friendly service and great freshly made food. I had the white bean burger with grilled tofu and rustic fries and three desserts: brigadeiro, chocolate mousse, and chocolate/peanut balls. Sooo good! While I wished they had a hearty salad to go along with their delicious burgers, I know that's not their thing and I will go again and try their other burgers.
