I'm from Bahia but live abroad. I was yesterday with my family at this restaurant and I don't recommend it. We are in the middle of Bahia's summer time and they didn't have coconut water (because there were no more coconuts!!!). We ordered two of the same dish, a Badejo grilled filet. Mine came good. My mother's plate came totally uneatable, the fish full of nerves, no quality check. At the end we didn't pay for her plate, which costs R$67,00 but my mother ended up hungry (and angry). I'd think that a place who charges almost R$70 in one dish would AT LEAST check the quality of what is being served. I give here 2 stars because the manager, Bruno, came to the table and didn't complain about not charging and apologized because of the lack of the coconuts (blaming the supplier). Tip: it's better to walk and get what your client ordered than having a negative review online. Never again. There are other options in the same street . Also, I've checked the reviews and this is not the first time that products are...

Very comfortable interior, especially if you like sofas. The lighting is dim which is elegant to me. The colors are earthy which yet another thing I like, a natural look that doesn't have distractions in color and lighting. The staff are nice and informative, one member even told me how they make their espresso with a liquor called 43, it's very nice. Filet mignon is high quality for sure, soft and flavorful with almost no salt. The coconut gelato was a perfect ending, had to be something light, and went well with the cold espresso drink (to be clear, not an espresso martini).

That's about it, I recommend this...

Cheguei com minha irmã e meu cunhado para comer e beber no local, no qual, se encontrava vazio, pouquíssimas pessoas e mesas vagas. A pessoa que nos recebeu na entrada falou que não havia lugares disponíveis para a gente, mesmo sendo visível que tinha.. comemos num barzinho ao lado, no qual tinha muita comida boa, drinks maravilhosos e observamos que foram chegando pessoas e que foram entrando. Estanhamos e vim deixar aqui meu comentário. Pensei mil vezes antes de registrar isso aqui, porque afinal, não se pode mais falar nesse assunto que muitos tratam como “mimi”, mas sim, nós 3 somos pretos, e as pessoas que eles estavam liberando para entrar eram brancas, loiras, homens brancos também.. enfim, foi muito triste isso.. saímos de lá extremamente assustados sobre o acontecido. Buscamos outras justificativas para o que aconteceu mas não encontramos.. Não haviam mesas reservadas. Só não queriam a gente lá! Triste demais. Por outro lado, podem apostar no lugar que tem ao lado, eles nos trataram tão bem, ficamos muito feliz com tudo, atendimento, comida, bebida, enfim, vale muito a pena. Nossa conta deu mais de R$500 reais, enquanto as primeiras mulheres que deixam entrar depois da gente lá no Loro (duas mulheres brancas loiras) ficaram uns 30 min com uma garrafa de cerveja na mesa. Espero que mudem isso. É feio, é...
