I came here with high expectations after seeing the reviews and checking the high prices. First: be ready for a long food wait. We were only 3 tables at the restaurant and yet we waited 45 minutes until the order arrived. As for the food itself, nothing too impressive. I got the grilled Badejo fillet that comes with two sides. One of the sides was a green salad. The fish had a good flavor, but it was very home made style. The salad had no intention whatsoever. Just some veggies together, no vinaigrette, no special arrangement. The place itself is nicely decorated with table cloths and a beautiful view of the boulevard. The music was pleasant, not too loud and fitting a varied set of tastes. But my final perception is that they take advantage of the prime location but their food or service does not reflect the 4.6 rating that it currently has. It’s an ok restaurant located in a prime spot. You pay for the location, not for the culinary experience. We went there on account of a recommendation and it couldn’t have been more true: the food was amazing, simply a sensory explosion with every bite. There are so many different flavours and layers to each dish that it’s impossible to pick a favourite because all the dishes we had were extraordinary! For starters, we had the fish balls, the shrimp in olive oil (absolute must, so definitely order because this will be the best olive oil sauce that you have ever tasted) and the crab in a shell.
