Paestum Forneria Bar — Restaurant in Região Imediata de Guaratinguetá

This review is about the delivery of pizzas by the Paestum restaurant, during the COVID-19 pandemics. I placed the order using a food order app very popular in Brazil. The first thing to note is that the restaurant charges a fair fee for the delivery. The estimated time to deliver is usually between 40 to 50 minutes. It is not that fast. But, compared to other restaurants, it is not that slow. Most important is that they usually deliver in the expected time. The pizza itself is very good. One of the best in Guaratinguetá region. The dough is fermented naturally and the pizza is baked in a wood oven. There is a good variety of topings to choose. I chose the Biancaneve and it was delicious. The price is not cheap. Food took forever and waitstaff seemed to not care so much when we asked. Pizza was beautiful but the crust took almost a third of the whole dish (albeit this was the chef’s style as per the waiter). As pizzas são boas, os risotos são bons, mas eu preciso falar do atendimento que recebi ontem. Pra início, não nós levaram até mesas disponíveis, fomos até a caixa perguntar de mesa e ela nos pediu para aguardarmos a limpeza de uma (porém, olhando no salão, depois notamos que haviam locais vazios e um garçom que precisamos chamar DUAS vezes nos levou até lá. Pedi macarrão ao molho Alfredo com filé mignon, me entregaram uma carne completamente sem tempero, uma massa que parece que só foi passada no queijo (ou seja, também sem tempero), e eu simplesmente não consegui nem comer direito. O risoto ao pesto estava maravilhoso, o carpaccio (que só tinha de Parma) estava razoável, mas o atendimento foi desanimador.
