Base Steakhouse — Restaurant in Região Imediata de São Paulo

Base Steakhouse is a solid spot if you re in the area and want a decent meal . The atmosphere is laid back, nothing too fancy, and it works for both a quick drink or sitting down for dinner. The steaks are the main draw they’re cooked well and come out juicy, which is really what you want when you order a steak. They also have draft beer on tap, which pairs nicely and gives you a few options without being overwhelming.

One thing I didn’t expect is that they also serve a breakfast buffet in the mornings from 6:30 to 10:30. It’s pretty convenient if you’re staying nearby or want an early start. The buffet has a wide range of choices, from fruit and yogurt to eggs, bacon, and baked goods. Nothing overly fancy, but it covers the bases. The one thing I’d really suggest trying is their pão de queijo. It’s a simple cheese bread, but they do it well, and it’s probably the most memorable part of breakfast.

It has great service and very nice. But some of the food is underwhelming. Where to start, who ever came up with olive pate should be shot. The cook on the grill needs to lay off on the salt. Steak and salmon was something I could not finish. The first I had meat taken away. The cream of spinach soup was lacking something. Maybe the slight bitterness near the end.

The cooked garlic, tomatoes was excellent, sweet and savory. The potato and onion with mustard sauce was good too. The pate other then the olive was good. Dessert was a nice treat, just the right sweetness. love the chocolate with the walnuts.

The soup of the day was excellent. Nice little sweet after taste. When the waiter brought over the green pepper sauce to add on. Gave it a nice kick. I recommend the soup of the day.

RESTAURANTE BASE BISTRÔ & BAR * HOTEL PULLMAN GUARULHOS/SP O restaurante Base Bistrô & Bar pertence ao Hotel Pullman Guarulhos. Elegante, bem decorado, com móveis clean e muito bonito. Mesas distribuídas pelo amplo espaço, além de uma adega atraente com bons vinhos. Atende muito bem aos hóspedes e transeuntes que circulam pelo hotel para um café da manhã, almoço, até um jantar de negócios ou lazer, tem um buffet atrativo com produtos extremamente bem selecionados. O restaurante apresentou para imprensa especializada em um almoço oferecido pelo novo chef David Oliveira o Tomahawk, prato signature do Base Bistrô & Bar. O Conceito de Luxo foi convidado para conhecer o restaurante. Eu estive neste almoço e fiquei surpreso como é bonito o Base. Na verdade, é um restaurante especializado em cortes de carnes especiais e foi considerado o melhor restaurante de Guarulhos pelo TripAdvisor de 2018. O prato apresentado foi o Signature Tomahawk, que é conhecida como carne dos Flintstones e extremamente famosa nas steakhouses americanas. É um dos cortes mais fáceis de serem identificados, retirado da parte dianteira do animal, onde é possível extrair apenas quatro peças por animal. Portanto, se torna um dos cortes mais saborosos, suculentos e raros. Foi também degustados fraldinha entre outras delicias, além do buffet que o restaurante tem com muitas opções de comida. Neste almoço o novo chef David Oliveira fez questão de apresentar todos os pratos servidos "um a um" dando explicações detalhadas de como foi preparado. Eu adorei!
