Beware, one of the worst tourist traps in Rio!

The location is beautiful, but that is about it.

We took many visitors there, just for the view, but it is always hit or miss. Food can be average on good days, but takes ages and is very expensive.

Also, check your bill for any “extras”, especially if you look “foreign”!

They also cooperate with ice cream sellers that go through the restaurant, lure your kids, and charge prices that would justify calling the police for fraud. The restaurant’s staff stands by, knowing about the apparent scheme.

If you want to enjoy the view, have a drink and move on to a decent restaurant. There are many nice, beautiful and honest places in Rio. Don’t waste your time...

This is Paradise; awesome beach, spectacular views and dine under the trees. The Moqueca of Róbalo is one of the best fish stews with coconut ever. The Crab and the shrimps Paste (turnover / empanadas) are also delicious, as well as the fried fresh fish chunks with local mustard sauce. The Caipirinha also wonderfully done. Truly lunch in paradise; just make sure they don’t charge your American credit card in USD, charge in Brazilian Reais (better exchange). We could have stayed there all day. Truly worthwhile. The place is located In amazing beach area with beautiful view. We arrived 1/2 hour before closing and ordered salad, fried calamari and grilled Seabass, the salad was fresh but we after we added olive oil and it was so old that it spoiled the salad.
