Beautiful place. A little bit hidden, but still not enough to be missed. Nice to find something with subtle but firm identity. Great decor with clear signature of someone who truly cares about his/her business and loves the job. Little details of decorations, mega extra mile with mosquito repellent being brought to the table without asking or dreaming of it.. Very friendly service, fast, but not to the level you would feel rushed. Nice variety of food, even option for vg/v, options between anything from the see, through steaks, poultry to finger food and pizzas. Will be definitely back, to try more of the menu and enjoy the service...

Absolutely amazing experience. It was a relief to find this beautiful and comfortable place in the middle of the mud hole that is the whole Tamandaré. The food was great, the staff was friendly and there is a small kid's playground. Bring moskito spray though as the restaurant is open to the outside. The gnocchi (which we ordered for our 2 year old) was not so great though and would not recommend it as it was too soft...

Ten years ago I came to Tapera and was served by a waiter called Thiago. He was such a nice young man that every time I remembered my trip to Tamandare, I thought about the restaurant and the rice with safron. I was so glad to see him again this time.
