As-salihah — Restaurant in Borneo

We had a great lunch at As-Salihah. The food is authentically Indonesian and very reasonably priced. Highlights were the Bandeng Presto (tender milkfish cooked to the bone), Bakso Beranak (giant meatball with smaller ones inside—fun and filling!), Gado-Gado (classic peanut sauce salad), and the Mie Goreng Seafood. The drinks were nice too, especially the Teh C Special.

Portions were generous, service was quick, and the menu offers a wide range of Indonesian favourites that are hard to find elsewhere in Brunei.

Only small downside: the toilet could be a bit cleaner—but that didn’t take away from the overall positive experience. Highly recommended for anyone craving Indonesian comfort food in Bandar...

I saw this restaurant from instagram, they said that the bakso is the best in town. We bought bakso geranat, lontong sayur, siomay, and bakso malang. Guess what, the bakso is super delicious, no doubt. Lontong sayur is the best guys, you can not find any lontong sayur like this, the taste is so perfect, i can eat more than 2 i think. The price affordable as well you can see it from the pic, i have took picture of the menu. It will never disappointed you. I will go there if i visit...

this casual spot has been my go-to bakso place (bakso biasa, bakso beranak, etc.) and my dad’s go-to ayam penyet. love the two types of chilli sauces to add to the soups, spice-loving people should definitely try this place! the teh tarik is really nice too, quite kaw with the right milkiness. the service was always pretty quick too, and the place can be sometimes full a little...
