Happy Bar & Grill Shell North — Restaurant in Maritsa

The food was amazing as always. Everything we ordered arrived very quickly. The parking was free and there were enough spaces. The toilets were clean. However, most of the staff were very unprofessional. When we entered, we were greeted by a lovely lady (perhaps the manager) who was friendly and showed us to our table. The table was situated right in front of the bar where two men were washing glasses, slamming each one and making a lot of noise. One of the men was arguing with a woman, telling her to stop commenting on his mother. He was visibly cross and didn't stop complaining about his job, low pay, and working conditions. Other team members kept coming to the bar, having loud, random chats, making the atmosphere unprofessional and, at times, even depressing. It's a shame, as this is one of our favorite...

This is our go to Happy to break up our trip and take a rest whenever we are driving back and forth from the beach since these are conveniently located on both sides of the highway. Usually one or two things will be blah (e.g. do not order the hummus. It's very below average. The ayran is too watered down and a fruity iced tea that I ordered previously was basically a glass of dissolved sugar), but everything we ordered this time was tasty and there's always variety with the seasonal menus. The peppers, tomatoes, and cucumbers in the veggie plate were fresh and had flavor, the chicken soup had a nice broth, and the bread with garlic and cheese and the fried fish with the garlic dill potatoes were both also quite nice. While heading to Sofia, I stopped at a gas station along the way and saw this restaurant. I was feeling hungry and wanted to check out the menu. It had a vast and impressive menu for a restaurant located on the highway. The hamburger section was very appetizing, and I chose the burger named "Mr. Cheesy" from that section. A magnificent burger arrived, and my waiter injected extra hot cheese into it with a syringe. The taste was incredibly good. All the waiters were very attentive and helpful. The atmosphere was also lovely. Later, I discovered that it is part of a restaurant chain. I can't wait to visit another branch at the earliest...
