Happy Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Maritsa

So then, prior to visiting a Happy restaurant we were recommended to experience it. We were also told to steer clear... So an open mind was in order cos it is a clearly marmite experience (love it/hate it) Our experience, the waiting staff was on the ball, helpful and quick. Whilst we were waiting, we observed that the restaurant as a model was quick and turning tables very quickly. No bad thing as our drinks and food were also delivered quickly. There was even a service button at the table. Nice touch, as don't see them in the UK. The food.. It was somewhere between good and OK. Clearly already prepared and warmed (we had quisadillas) but tasted fine. Watching other meals, seemed the same, but the business model is very much turn em in, feed em, turf em out. The atmosphere was good, just a touch loud for me, but my wife says it cos I am old. Overall, we would definitely go again amd something else. 45lev (20 odd quid sterling sep23) for two meals two drinks and a nutellasgne cannot be sniffed at.

My wife said waitresses in miniskirts should not be included in my review. So I have left...

The perfect place to be humiliated by unscrupulous people to lose customers just to get some additional money. The hostess at the entrance told us that we should wait 30 min for a smoker table for two, seeing that we were not resigning or agreeing for a non smoker table, they invited us to enter after one hour and we realized that the smokers area is in renovation (background of the picture), they offered us to sit in a non-smoker area. I obviously complained, why the hostess that saw me with an elastic band on my knee let us wait one hour instead of saying the true (smoker area is close)... You get your money, we had a 20% discount (that is nothing respect of what you created) due to my complaint but be ashamed and do not think to be the only one place where people can eat in the Mall Paradise, you lost us forever and you will have the appropriate publicity. Do not think that all other people that were bored to wait for so long and agreed for a non smoker table are so stupid... You get our money but will regret this type of bad...

This is the best restaurant that my family and I have ever been to. We are originally from Bulgaria but are living in Canada currently. We visit Bulgaria every few years and this year we had Haitian family with us that visited as well. We were amazed by the atmosphere, quality of service and best of all the food. The menus included pictures of all the dishes which we loved. The pictures were of 5 star quality as was the presentation of the actual food when it came out. The taste of every single dish we ordered was indescribable. Fast and very polite service always with a smile. Bathrooms are clean and fresh scented. We asked the staff about the history of the restaurant and found out that the origin of the restaurant is Bulgarian even though they have a Greek theme. Absolutely recommend this place to any one...
