Not really vegetarian or vegan friendly. All you can eat here if you are on of the above is french fries (blanched, frozen), potato with yellow cheese (the cheese placed just on top of the potato so when you cut the potato it just slides off…), salads and so on, but not a single main dish.
I had Krista salad and it damaged my gums, the bread was so hard and 3 fingers thick. In the end of me finishing this salad I had bleeding gums?!? Paid 20lv (10€) for this.
Secondly I ordered stuffed grilled potato with “cheeses”, although it only contained one sort of cheese - yellow cheese. Also the potato was not exactly stuffed, but rather split and slice of yellow cheese was placed on top of the two half’s. When I tried to slice a piece of the potato the cheese fell right off… if it was stuffed as the menu said and the cheese was incorporated this would have been better.
We also had fries and as I previously mentioned they were blanched frozen fries. When I go to a higher ranking restaurant I expect more.
There was a gap in the service too. One of the meals we ordered (grilled biftek) had fries and rice as sides, which was not mentioned anywhere in the menu. So that why we ordered a portion of fries. I find it incomprehensible that the waiter didn’t say anything. If I was him I would have said something like “I’m sorry I just wanted to inform you that there are fries and rice as sides of this dish. Will you still want to order extra fries?”.
From all we had I only liked...
Read moreThe service was very good and the atmosphere was perfect. The food, however, was extremely disappointing. Squid for 50 BGN which was bitter (its price in the menu was for 100gr and it was not written how much a plate would be and the waiter did not explain that), the French fries were fryer-made and had terrible taste, the tzatziki was as if bought from a cheap store. We only liked the tarama but it had no bread included (who eats tarama without any bread?) and the one we ordered additionally was like made of flour and water only). The zucchini were fine but nothing special (except for the price of almost 30 BGN). We wanted to order fish but the waiter explained the smallest one was about 800g (about 100 BGN) which is huge for one person. We knew the place was a little more expensive than usual and we are perfectly fine with it, provided the food is...
Read moreThe place is very nice, all the food is fresh and very well prepared. In the menu is written that they deliver supplies 3 times per week from Greece. The service is on a high level, waiters are putting effort to be professional, but sometimes they turn to be a bit rude. I hope it is just a different understanding of sense of humor :) The garden is very nice, not big but well maintained. With a view to the Vitosha mountain. Total advantage is the big parking! You always find a place to park and there are people who can help you if anything. They have a smoking area which is bigger than the non-smoking area :) but the ventilation is good, so it is absolutely fine to book a table in both areas, even if you are a...
