LOW AND SLOW GENTLEMEN SMOKEHOUSE — Restaurant in Sofia City

I am writing a follow-up review for what I consider the best burger restaurant in Sofia. 'Low and Slow' consistently maintains the quality and flavor of their food year after year. Unlike other local burger spots, where the quality can be unpredictable, here you always know what you're going to get—and it’s consistently excellent. This reliability sets them apart, placing them far ahead of the competition.

Moreover, they manage to keep their prices surprisingly low. It's astonishing how they offer such quality at these prices, but it's certainly another point in their favor, where cost and quality complement each other beautifully. The owner is also incredibly cool and supportive, whether you order by phone or in person at the restaurant.

A Mixed Bag of "Southern" Hospitality and Culinary Misses Upon entering restaurant, one is instantly enveloped in an ambiance reminiscent of a classic American diner. The staff champions the spirit of Bulgarian "Southern" style hospitality . Attentive and eager to serve. Unfortunately, the promise of a delightful gastronomic experience, hinted at by the ambiance and staff, was not fully realized in the meal. The brisket, a centerpiece of barbecue cuisine, fell short of expectations. While one anticipates a tender, juicy, and flavorful experience, the dish presented was dry and exhibited an unappetizing grey hue. Probably the best burger in Sofia. Definitely the best hot dog! Pork knuckle is huge and delicious, usually good for 2 meals!

Other burger places have deteoriated in quality for different reasons (franchising, staff turnover or what not), but Low n Slow hasn't. I wasn't a fan of smoked meats at first, but quality has been top notch for years now and they've won me over.
