Café Alice — Restaurant in Montreal

The most welcoming Coffee dog friendly spot I've been in with my dog Yuki Haru in the area! The moment I enter, the man who worked there give us a warm welcome for my dog and I as he was working by himself trying to multitask ❤️ I enjoy looking at the decor and the vibe in there is so cozy and feel like home to us 🫶

I order a couscous & feta with a fruit smoothie for takeout and it taste absolutely delicious!! I also got the opportunity to talk a bit with the man who worked there, it was fun chatting with him and he was very friendly with my dog who she was very curious to explore the place as she can smell the others dogs scent haha !

While waiting, Yuki went to the old owner dog bed and it was so cute seeing that 🥺❤️

For sure we will come back again to try the others things on their menu, excellent service and yummy food a great way to start my day...

The pastries are so great! I had a croissant and a chocolatine—one of the best chocolatines I’ve ever had. Their matcha latte was also surprisingly good, which I didn’t expect because for some reason, it’s hard to find a decent matcha latte in this area. The shop is cozy and beautiful. The decor and interior are charming—exposed brick walls, wooden interiors, patterned wallpaper at the back, a bell on the door, soft music playing from a vinyl record, and a vintage piano. What a wonderful spot. I had the pleasure of speaking with the owner (incredibly friendly) about his cafe, his mother to which the cafe was dedicated to, and his dog (may Mucho rest in peace). He has put a lot of heart into the place and it shows - you can feel the passion. The wall of framed dogs got me. Coffee was great and I’m so glad I stopped by on my way to the gardens. I’ll be sure to make a stop when I come back to Montreal, whether that be for another coffee stop OR an espresso martini with the girls once he starts...
