Somros Prey Pros Restaurant — Restaurant in Kampong Thom

We visited this Prey Pros Restaurant on 16 February 2022, on our way from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh. It is a perfect spot to take a break after 2 hours of car riding.

It is a restaurant serving Khmer food, opens everyday from 07:00 AM till 21:00 PM. The charcoal-grilled snakehead fish is great, broiled chicken (with morning glory soup, complimentary), sweet and sour fish soup with vegetable, soursoup with baby fish, are all great, particularly when you eat them (especially when fresh from the kitchen).

You can enjoy the food while looking at the fresh air breezing right from the lake-like and rice field in front of you.

You can choose a hut with chair and table or a hut with table bit no chair (you sit down on the floor). Truly enjoyable environment.

Big space with fast services. Good view of Prey Pros river. Serves breakfast lunch and dinner at acceptable price for travellers. I ordered minced pork noodle soup with fish meatball for breakfast. It tastes great and waiting is not so long despite the restaurant was almost full. Hot tea is free. Restroom is clean. Staff are friendly and active.
