Having eaten at their flagship restaurant many times, I would have expected more out of this location. The Spotify playlist after the DJ had finished was way better than his. The service was bad. Imagine finished starters then still waiting on the wine. That's 30++minutes into the seating before they came to say they did not have that wine. The Filipino manager seems oblivious and not even come by to ask how was the food or anything. Food arrived almost cold. It was a new menu from the time I've been here. Truffle fries was meh. The meat platter was to be desired, beef tasteless, chicken overly sweet, lemongrass stick super salty. You claim it to be rendang beef, such a let down! Please change the name)(it's not a rendang) . The tempura set was more veg than meat. Utterly nonsensical for the value. Climbing up 2 flights of steps is really just for the view. They also had a video shoot and asked the DJ to mute the music until they were done. Seriously! My guests from out of town and I were appaled with the entire experience. Literally, just nonsense. Wake up hops! Just serve the same menu you have at...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am shocked and disgusted by the treatment my son received at Chew and Bash in Phnom Penh. After ordering a blueberry smoothie, which tasted like sour milk and was completely undrinkable, he politely asked for a simple glass of water. He was refused, unless he paid $3.
Refusing a child drinking water is disgraceful. It shows a complete lack of basic decency, let alone hospitality. No establishment should treat guests, especially children, this way.
The only positive note was the warm and professional service from Srimom, she was kind and attentive, and I thank her for that.
But that alone does not redeem the experience. The attitude of this place is appalling, the smoothie was inedible, and the refusal to provide water to a child is something I wonāt soon forget. I will not return, and I strongly advise others to think twice before supporting a business that treats...
