La Vida Floating Restaurant in Phnom Penh offers a unique dining experience on the water, combining a relaxed atmosphere with Cambodian hospitality.
Set on the river, the restaurant allows guests to enjoy panoramic views while dining, especially beautiful at sunset when the city lights begin to glow across the water.
The menu features a mix of Khmer and international dishes, with an emphasis on fresh seafood and flavorful local ingredients. Portions are generous, and the presentation is thoughtful. Drinks, including cocktails and fresh juices, complement the meals and enhance the laid-back riverside vibe.
For photographers, La Vida is an excellent spot to capture the romance of Phnom Penh’s riverfront. Golden hour brings soft, warm light perfect for wide shots of the floating decks, while night photography highlights the reflections of the restaurant’s lights on the water.
Close-ups of dishes or candid moments of guests enjoying the ambiance can also make for strong visual stories.

Read moreGood view, good vibe and very famous place in Cambodia but hard to make reservation. I tried 3 times since soft opening, do not have any respond until some staff accept call and said we can walk in. We go so long and make up, prepare dress for our special day but fail. When we arrive for walk in as they said, no space and say full booking. Sorry please come again later. What!!??
Try again when they promoted grand opening and buy tickets around $25 for each entry. There are buffet and fireworks + singer super star come to celebrate. We got ticket this time but food is so so while singer seem come to show to owners and his VIP guests only. Seem like we pay to share cost of grand opening.
Service also quite terrible. On table didn’t clean. Serve utensil, spoon, still have someone’s hair on that wet table. Call for anything, don’t concentrate or don’t care but when we went to take photo, they clear all of our belongs there out suddenly.
Good vibe if you want to try. But do not expect good service as worth as what you pay.
However, La Vida Skybar on Morgan tower is different. That is my top 3 sky bar in Phnom Penh,...
Read moreLa Vida floating restaurant sits off the Mekong River and is a part of the Morgan Tower/Morgan Enmaison campus. Nestled on the peninsular district of Chroy Changvar in close proximity to The Scenery Skybar (at Bali Resort No 3 Building A) and HaHa Camping pub. Beautifully kept grounds, great wait staff and decent food options. Although they were catering a large event, they still had ample seating for smaller parties. They have a tablet menu with a wide variety of appetizers and drinks. We ordered a bowl of nuts, chicken wings (slightly undercooked - sent back), ceasar salad and a bottle of beer. Overall, it's a whimsical experience with a...
