Definitely one of the best places for food in Banlung. Clearly considering that we are in Banlung anyway. After several weeks in Cambodia we were in the mood for some Western food so between the reviews and whatnot we decided to come all the way here. Nice place not too big. Friendly staff and there were even people who spoke English (for those who have been in Ratanakiri know that it is not at all easy to find English speakers , even in the classiest hotels). This is a small and very modest street restaurant. Polite staff, relaxed atmosphere and a good, simple menu. For tourists, there are plenty of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are tables for 3 people and for a company of 6-12 guests. Sufficient assortment of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, pleasant music in the evening. The food was very good, but we had two bad experiences there. We went for dinner and the at first very friendly owner wouldn’t stop telling us that Mondulkiri, where we would go the next day, far not as good as Ratanakiri is. They also sell trekking tours. That we are not into more days of jungle trekking and are another kind of tourists, didn’t matter again. His way is the right way.
