This is a small and very modest street restaurant. Polite staff, relaxed atmosphere and a good, simple menu. For tourists, there are plenty of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are tables for 3 people and for a company of 6-12 guests. Sufficient assortment of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, pleasant music in the evening. I visited this restaurant for several days in a row in February 2025. Payment can be made both by card through the terminal and in cash. If you want to order food to go, it's no problem here, I've seen other guests order and leave the restaurant with lunch boxes and smiles of gratitude. And do not forget to say ‘orkun’ (thank you) to the restaurant staff, they are really polite and try to provide you with the necessary service)

The Green Carrot was a delightful surprise. A lot of restaurants have closed because of lack of business during Covid: but this gem is still open, with a full menu. We tried a lot of vegetarian items, including fettucine, pizza, noodles, burgers, salads, and shakes. They have a great Cambodian and western selection, with plenty of vegetarian options, and the food is great. 👌

Very nice location with awesome food. They sell very good vegetable food. It's good for vegans. They speak good English and understand everything. The service is very good. The owner have a guesthouse and make trekking tours in the jungle. When you going to banlung you have to go there. It's a very nice ambiente.

Definitely one of the best places for food in Banlung. Clearly considering that we are in Banlung anyway. After several weeks in Cambodia we were in the mood for some Western food so between the reviews and whatnot we decided to come all the way here. Nice place not too big. Friendly staff and there were even people who spoke English (for those who have been in Ratanakiri know that it is not at all easy to find English speakers , even in the classiest hotels). Food also very tasty. Everything very good, too bad about the timing, we had to wait almost an hour to be able to eat. True that there was a group of several people before us, so they were busy with them. However, even after serving them all they still took a long time. Prices in the normal...

The food was very good, but we had two bad experiences there. We went for dinner and the at first very friendly owner wouldn’t stop telling us that Mondulkiri, where we would go the next day, far not as good as Ratanakiri is. They also sell trekking tours. That we are not into more days of jungle trekking and are another kind of tourists, didn’t matter again. His way is the right way. The next day we went for breakfast, because as I said, the food was very nice, but the girl refused a older 10$-note (but not scratched or stamped or something). We had that or 100$, so she wanted to give us change in Riel. At the end I had to run to the atm and back and almost lost our transfer to Mondulkiri. We wouldn’t recommend you...
