I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lum Orng Farm to Table Restaurant, and it was an experience I won't soon forget. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the warm, inviting atmosphere that perfectly complements the restaurant's connection to the land. Knowing that the fresh produce comes straight from the farm added an extra layer of authenticity to the experience.
The menu is a delightful journey through modern Cambodian cuisine, with each dish showcasing the best of what the local ingredients have to offer. The freshness of the farm’s produce was evident in every bite. I particularly loved how the dishes combined traditional Cambodian flavors with a contemporary twist. Whether it was the vibrant salads, richly flavored curries, or the perfectly grilled meats, everything I tried was exceptional.
What truly stood out to me was the attention to detail. Each dish was beautifully presented, with a perfect balance of flavors and textures that made every bite a pleasure. It’s clear that the chefs take great pride in their work, creating dishes that are not only delicious but also visually stunning.
I was particularly grateful for the way the chef adjusted the menu for us due to food allergies. The level of care and flexibility made us feel truly valued as guests. In addition, the chef also specially made us a beef carpaccio which was absolutely delightful
The service was another highlight of my visit. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the menu, and they were more than happy to share the stories behind the dishes and the farm-to-table concept. Their enthusiasm added so much to the overall experience.
In short, Lum Orng Farm to Table Restaurant is a gem. If you’re looking to experience modern Cambodian cuisine at its finest, with the added bonus of knowing your meal is made with the freshest local ingredients, this is the place to go. I can’t recommend it highly enough!
I would give Lum Orng 6 out of 5 stars if I could, And we will be going back...
Read moreMe and my dad stayed for 6 days in Lum Orng’s “brother” Isann Lodge and had the pleasure to spend one dinner in this table farm. It’s a pleasant walk from the lodge( Amazing green and peaceful place: you can find my review here on TA, Isann Lodge Siem Reap), or in case you eat too much or do not enjoy night walking and dogs, you may ask for a free drop off or pick up at any time. As the Lodge itself, this restaurant is tastefully decorated, a great attention has been put to small details, chosen with care without resulting too much or not enough. Glass, wood, light, candle light, space and traditional items create an unique atmosphere which you can also enjoy from an outside table, dining in the middle of their bio vegetable garden. You can also tour this garden, and you will be explained all plants, and offered to taste them. All this by a very kind and super professional staff with amazing manners. The menu is very interesting: for a very reasonable price you can taste out 7 different dishes, all very particular and elaborate. Here the tastes meet western food creativity and five birth to an unique food journey! If you do not like some of the ingredients(fish, seafood, beef etc) you will just need to ask for something different and you will be satisfied. We enjoyed a loooot: once again, the staff of Isann Lodge and its restaurants confirmed they...

So there I was, enjoyed a bumpy ride with my dining crew to this “off-the-beaten-path” restaurant that turned out to be about as secret as a Kardashian pregnancy.
One peek at the menu and I realized I wasn’t the first food explorer to discover this place – judging by the identical photos from years past, this spot has been Instagram-famous longer than avocado toast.
Fair warning: the portions here are what I like to call “European elegant” (translation: bring snacks). Unless you’re planning to survive on good vibes and artistic plating, I would suggest a strategic pre-dinner appetizer at home. Think of it as culinary foreplay.
The service comes with complimentary photobombing – the server had an uncanny ability to appear in every single shot like some sort of dining paparazzi. Note to management: maybe teach the staff the ancient art of “duck and cover” when phones or camera come out?
Despite feeling like I had been pranked by every food blogger before me, the experience was solid enough to earn a return visit. I’ll be back when they inevitably roll out their “new” seasonal menu (fingers crossed it doesn’t look suspiciously...
