Our Stay at Saveun and Sopheas House was so amazing! We were looking for an authentic privat local experience and what we got exceeded our expectation. We were staying for 2 Nights and learned a lot about Khmer Culture and enjoyed the best food we've had in Cambodia! Sveun also taught us some Khmer and shared some very interesting stories about his life. He really took his time for us and made sure we enjoy our stay. It was so lovely and fun to talk with this cute Family, cause they always keep smiling and made us feel really comfortable. We felt at home right away and our stay was the perfect break from the busy city center that we needed. Also we enjoyed walking through the village and see all the friendly faces and beeing around nature (aspecially the cows :D). At the end we wished we stayed longer than two nights but next time we're in siem reap, we definetely would come back to this wonderful family and bring some more time. aor-kun for everything! we hope to see you again 😊 Nele and Laura :)

Amazing true Homestay! Felt like one of the family. We were hosted for a total of 3 days. Good proximity to Angkor Wat and far enough away to get traditional Khmer village experience. Our stay included a free pick up from the Airport. Saveun and his family were excellent hosts. We enjoyed the included breakfast and also paid affordable price for lunch and dinner with them as it just made life easier, we are so glad we did- very tasty! Our rooms were clean, and each had attached private bathroom. We had nice strolls around the village, visited neighbors. Saveun also drove us to tourist sites, restaurants, night markets and helped us locate a guide when we needed it. We were able to hang out and relax in the evenings. This felt like a great way to experience Cambodia and support local people.

I'm currently staying with Saveun at his and his family's homestay and this is one of my favorite Airbnb experiences. Saveun is a tuktuk driver, his wife cooks so they have a restaurant where you get home cooked meals. One of his brothers is a tour guide so they have the hookups. You can make arrangements with him for rides to and from the airport as well as sightseeing. Saveun and his family have been so kind and helpful to us. The bed is comfortable, the room is big enough and the WiFi is great. The area is quiet, you hear the sounds of chickens a lot. From the airport is an hour drive on his tuktuk, probably less time with the car. Very good businessman! Pretty much everything was taken care of and we didn't have to worry about figuring out transportation or food while here.
