LGM Le Glacier Moderne Akwa — Restaurant in Communauté urbaine de Douala

Terrible. First let me say, when we entered the guards outside offering the hand sanitizer was very pleasant. The horror show began when we start receiving our food. My husband ordered a burger...but I don't know what type of meat was used...because this definetly was not a burger. It was burnt and utterly disgusting. Moving forward I asked for a cup of ice for my hot juice...yes my juice was hot. So I received the cup of of ice and it was dirty. So my husband sent it back and requested a new cup of ice...our server rinsed the ice off and attempted to re-serve me the same dirty ice..ewww just nasty and unsanitary. At this point, I am ready to go. However we wait for our other parties food in which they ordered a 🍕pizza. Bad choice. The only good thing about this place is possibly the ice cream , but I would never ever visit this establishment...again. just dirty...

I really enjoy the look and feel of the place. Its attractive from outside and cozy inside. The waitresses are efficient at their job and very friendly, the food there is good and at affordable price (depends of your standards). Le Glacier Moderne had a noticeable architecture. I never set foot inside. From the outside, the inside is really impressive. It's really classy! The outside is really beautiful, you can't imagine that such a classy building would house a... CREAM PARLOUR. My only complaint, being a native of BONAPRISO, that quarter has definitely lost its status of residential area. With such infrastructures.... No more peace. Toooooo...
