L'HYBRIDE — Restaurant in Yaoundé

Was there with My wife on the 14th of February, 2023 at around 23h. Was told they had special meal offers per person was 40,000FCFA and can only be what they have in the special menu flier for the day that can be requested for. Couples was 70,000 fcfa. The worker that attended to us said the meal comes with a cup of free champagne and if we need other drinks, we have to pay for it. We agreed, had a seat upstairs and and we were told to select from a 2 main course meals. Proposal The BiG day. My wife choose proposal and I choose the big day. It took more than an hour before they brought our order and when they brought it, we realized the meal wasn’t complete. For my wife that choose No1:Proposal, they brought just a very small fish with meshed potatoes. For me that choose 2: The Big Day, they brought a very small duck and meshed potatoes. We requested for the complete meal according to what was on the special Valentine flier and they said it was just what was given to us that we are entitled to. I personally don’t eat meshed potatoes and it wasn’t in my order. I didn’t touch the meal given to me.

NEGATIVE RESULTS AFTERWARDS

The meal for my wife was not complete as regard what was on the list we requested for Mine was not complete and the only meal brought was not what I requested. (They choose a meal for me ) The champagne as promised was not given to us. There was suppose to be a desert after the meal called HAPPY EVER AFTER. They didn’t give us. Requested for drinks Menu to order and pay but was not given. The service was very poor. Guess they only give more concern to some certain people. The Annoying employee (Supervisor) with no manners ( a young guy on a red suit). After complaining during payment, told me he would only remove 10,000FCFA for me . That I have to pay even if I didn’t eat the food that was given to me with attitude and raising his voice. ( He was very lucky he left the scene after it became hot). I would have initiated some senses into him). Talking to me as if he is doing me Favors. We had to leave there, paid after all the arguments to make peace and went to another restaurant to have a great meal and better services.

Note. Was a great atmosphere for relaxation with friends and family but that night, the Supervisor was Annoying, disgusting, unfriendly and not accommodating. He doesn’t deserve...

L’Hybride – Mon expérience :

Accueil : À l’arrivée, un agent de sécurité plutôt courtois nous accueille. Il est nécessaire d’attendre qu’un membre du personnel vienne vous chercher afin de vous attribuer une table.

Tarification et conditions : Le prix varie selon l’emplacement choisi. Certaines places imposent la commande d’une bouteille de champagne à 100 000 FCFA. À un moment donné, alors que nous étions en train de consulter nos menus individuellement, le serveur nous a suggéré : « Si vous le souhaitez, vous pouvez opter pour un plat à 40 000 FCFA à partager. »

Cela donne l’impression que l’établissement juge peut-être selon l’apparence des clients. Serait-ce parce que nous sommes jeunes qu’on présume que nous n’avons pas les moyens ? D’accord… 🥲

Cadre : L’endroit est très élégant, avec une décoration soignée.

Cuisine : Je déconseille la pizza BBQ, qui n’était pas exceptionnelle. Quant aux tagliatelles, je ne les ai pas appréciées non plus : elles étaient extrêmement grasses, et les lardons manquaient clairement de qualité. Pour un lieu qui se veut raffiné et prestigieux, la qualité des ingrédients est franchement à revoir. En revanche, ma cousine a beaucoup aimé sa pizza Regina, donc il faut reconnaître que certains plats peuvent tout de même satisfaire.

Boissons : Nous avons été surpris de voir des petites bouteilles de jus de 30 cl vendues à 2 000 FCFA. Nous souhaitions commander des grandes bouteilles, proposées à 3 000 FCFA, mais celles-ci n’étaient malheureusement pas disponibles. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Ambiance et musique : L’atmosphère est agréable et la musique contribue à une expérience plaisante, sans être monotone.

Temps d’attente : • Boissons : environ 10 minutes (service rapide). • Plats : environ 20 minutes...

The waiters were very polite despite how long it took to serve us. So was the manager, checking up on clients was adorable. However, for a reservation, the lady in charge of this did absolutely nothing! Tables bare, zero dispositions against mosquitoes, and absolutely no decor effort despite indicating it was a corporate after work. We were totally not taken seriously.
