A&W Canada — Restaurant in Alberta

This morning brought a most pleasant breakfast surprise! Urged by my brother, (who enjoys breakfast at A & W in his Southern Manitoba town,) we stopped in at A & W while passing by Rimbey today. Counter service was bright and friendly, the breakfast choices were perfect, and about $20 later, we each had 2 Classics, (2 eggs, 4 strips of wholesome bacon, 2 toasts with butter,) complete with extra delicious hash browns and shared order of pancakes, accompanied by frothy-delicious hot chocolate & perfect coffee. The atmosphere was very pleasant: Friendly local ranchers, oil field service workers and cowboys with their wives, wearing cowboy boots and hats - greeted each other and chatted with A & W staff in friendly tones. Hometown Alberta at its best!!! This fortuitous dining experience added beautifully to my brother's holiday! Good...

Line is always way too long. Need to get better at customer care and speed orders up. The placement of the location is poorly designed and has weird traffic flow for waiting in line. If you came around behind town and were in the right hand side of the road you would be able to budge all the people on the opposite direction who were on the far side of the road despite how long they were waiting. I had a fantastic experience at this A&W. I was on a long drive and desperately needed a coffee, but I pulled up just after 10 without knowing they were closed. The doors were still unlocked, Bralyn and Loren greeted me with a huge smile. They not only took my order but also made me a fresh coffee. It's truly incredible to see that level of customer service.
