Phyllis was OUTSTANDING, she kept us laughing and helped us with choices. Food.. outstanding, the turkey avocado waffle sandwich is litterally to die for.. me and my lady swapped half half on our dishes. . The other thing we got was tje chicken asparagus wrap... amazing! We grabbed some desert to go but we are to full to eat that atm. I am sure its going to slap just as hard! If I could leave more than five stars I for sure would. Thank you Eco Cafe, we will be back!

What a fun place..Stumbled upon this 'hidden gem' during a recent visit to Village at Pigeon Lake and oh boy! the experience I have had is surreal...Loved the vibe...the food and the service...The staff is super friendly and so are its customers...This wonderful lady packed my food alongwith cutlery and napkins as I was going to eat it on my way back home...How sweet!! Looking forward to going back there!!!

I loved the ECO Cafe - there's a reason why this place has been open since 1997! I had the New Asian Soup Bowl and it was delicious and the portion was generous. This restaurant has done an amazing job at holding off on raising prices as the cost of groceries is going through the roof, so I encourage all to continue to support them as much as possible! I will 100% be back.

We were at the café on Saturday, June 2nd, early afternoon. It was not busy. A woman seated us and then we had to wait several minutes to get menus. After reviewing the menu, we had to wait for her to come back and take our order (she seemed busy visiting a table of ladies). My husband ordered a diet coke with his meal and I asked for water. She brought the waters but didn't bring the pop. We waited over 25 minutes for our meal, noting that the table outside who arrived after us was already eating. We were told by our server that our meal was delayed because one of the orders had to be prepared as many of the menu items are pre-prepared in the morning but that they had sold out of that particular item (we ordered the Torta and asparagus wrap). She wouldn't tell us which one. We suspected she had forgotten to put the order in, but didn't want to admit it. My husband asked again for his pop to which she replied, "oh, the girl didn't bring it to you, I'll get it"...but she was "the girl" who brought our other drinks. When the food finally arrived, it was absolutely delicious (the reason I gave 2 stars instead of just 1). I couldn't finish my meal and waited for the gal to come back to wrap it up. We waited over 10 minutes so we finally just brought the plate to the front desk to pay for our meal and have it boxed up. If service is this bad with only 3 tables in the restaurant, I can only imagine how bad it is when they're busy during peak season. While the food was fantastic, I don't know that...

Stopped for lunch here today, the calamari was really good. I orderd there chicken quesadilla an it came out with ranch dressing inside of it an the sour cream an salsa on top. I checked the menu again because it did NOT say anything about ranch being inside. So disgusting. When I asked the server about it, she was like oh well that's how he always makes it. Have you ate here before? I said no an its sogyy an gross im not eating this, if you have ranch in it then it should be stated on the menu. She wasnt apologetic at all. She thought I was weird for being suprised it was in there. So not great service to say the least. As well my friend with my is celiac an orderd the potatoe salad, specifically asked if it was made with any gluten she checked with the "chef" an he said no it was not. LIES! The potatoes for the potatoe salad are deep fried, so cross contamination. An she was sick almost immediately after. If you want to go to a restaurant with bad service an no consideration of allergies then this is the...

If you look at the menu for more than 10 mins and just request water while you’re deciding on what to order, beware because the staff will give you attitude and tell you to make way for paying customers, even though the place is basically empty.

Poor service, I won’t be back. Also a word to the owner - try teaching your staff some respect, and also don’t say you’ve “never seen me around” as if I’m some nobody who is too be lowly to be giving you business. I am myself am an entrepreneur and would never dream of treating my clients the way you treated me. I firmly believe all business owners should treat their customers with respect.

I will say that I experienced nothing but excellent service at all other business at The Village, but the terrible treatment at Eco Cafe was enough to leave me with a bad taste in my mouth. I hope you an learn from this and treat your customers with the respect and dignity...
