Seriously One of the Best Pizzas We've Had in Ages We were blown away. Honestly, we were a little hesitant to order a Great White North from anywhere other than Boston Pizza—it’s a classic, and usually tough to beat—but this place absolutely knocked it out of the park. It far exceeded our expectations and delivered one of the best pizzas we’ve had in a long time. The crust was spot on—soft and chewy with a beautiful golden edge that gave each bite a perfect finish. There was no skimping on the cheese or toppings either; they were generous, well-balanced, and evenly spread across the pie. The sauce isn’t overly spiced, which we actually appreciated—it complements everything without trying to steal the spotlight. It’s just good, honest pizza done right. You’ll want to call ahead or be ready to wait about 20–25 minutes for a whole pizza, but trust us—it’s worth every second. Whether you're local or just passing through, make time to check this place out. Small-town pizza joints like this one are rare, and when you find one that gets it, it deserves a little spotlight. Highly, highly recommend.

The pizza is amazing and the servers are always friendly. Edited August 2019: only 2 couples in the restaurant on a Friday night. It was 15 minutes after we ordered that we were informed an item ordered wasn't available. 2nd option also not available. Waited 45 minutes for our 2 pizzas and 2 orders of nachos (as did the couple that was seated near us) and we had to move 15 minutes after sitting down because the young gentlemen that came in for drinks were so loud we couldn't even have a conversation. Those gentleman had no problem getting drink refills in that time as all 4 staff were busy serving them...including the owner. Word to the wise... order takeout instead. You might actually get to enjoy your meal.

We ordered 2 large pizzas just before closing and were well accommodated. 1 large is more than enough for 2 hungry teens. Delicious! This is a small pizza shop with only so much capacity, so some of the reviews about wait times being long might be what you expect when everyone is out at the Village after a day of boating or golfing. As of April '21 the white menu is current.

Don’t waste your time here, they hate tourists. I went in with some friends at 11:30 on a Sunday (they opened at 10) The store looked closed, lights were only on in the kitchen and the seating area was dark, and there were no customers. It took them 5 minutes to come to the counter and they didn’t even greet us, they just stared at us looking confused why we were in their restaurant. We asked if there were open and the guy just says “yeah kinda.” We started looking through the menu and they told us that they had no subs available, no sandwiches, only pizza. We found the pizza we wanted to order but they never came back to take our order. We waited a good ten more minutes but they never came out of the kitchen. I genuinely think they were just hiding and waiting for us to leave….

These people clearly hate operating a restaurant and they clearly hate tourists. They shouldn’t bite the hand that feeds them. Hopefully they go under soon and a better shop can take...

Absolutely horrible customer service. Called to make a pickup order for a poutine and was met with a rude woman over the phone.

She was like “oh…can you just order tomorrow? That means I have to turn on the fryer again and make an entire batch of gravy for just one poutine” and I was like “well do you guys close soon?” And she was like “no, we don’t close until 7 but I’ll be wasting a whole batch of food just for one order” and I was like “well if it’s too much of an inconvenience I just won’t order then”

Like ur literally a food place? And you’re giving me attitude about putting the fryer on and making another batch of gravy? Forgive me if I’m wrong but if a customer orders something it’s not my duty to order my meal “in the morning” to make ur job more convenient for you. On top of that giving me attitude like it’s an inconvenience for you to do your job is crazy. Such a shame because their food is great. Definitely not worth putting up...
