Karen's Katering — Restaurant in Alberta

Have the pleasure of eating here 4 - 5 times a week and luckily more often than not I’m not in a rush as although the food is often good the service has fallen off badly in the last 6 months - 1 year to the point of being non existent. What used to be an enjoyable part of the day after work is now a chore just waiting to be asked let alone actually getting a menu, beer, water, meal or anything whatesoever on either the Bar or Restaurant side. If in any sort of rush (less than 1 - 1 1/2 hour), with the selection growing your often better off grabbing something from the Petro-Can and retiring back to the Hotel or continuing...

This place is a Great Place, food very tasty and plenty of it.. I had to work near here for a couple of weeks, they remembered my name within a couple of days.. greeted me every day by my name and with smiles.. they know how to make you feel better than when you entered after a long day.. so glad that these people know how to make a positive experience memorable.. Thank You

Ordered a meat pizza and added onions. It was covered in the hard outer onion skin and even had the brown tail end of the onion. Who does that? You only do that if you’re either extremely cheap or half stunned. Pizza cost me almost 50 bucks. Mental. Other coworkers have complained about bad experiences as well. You’re better off going down the road into Conklin to go to the restaurant at Christina Lake. I wouldn’t mind so much if it was a 20 buck...
