Lovely mountain views!! We had breakfast and dinner here. I love their Eggs Benedict, the best hollandaise sauce I’ve ever had and i’ve had many because i love poached eggs. The eggs were poached medium which is exactly what i asked for. The veggie omelette was huge and came with hash browns and a delicious multigrain bread. Our server at the breakfast was very friendly and provided great service, however the service during our dinner wasn’t good. Our server took our order and brought out the food, but never refilled our waters or ask how our food was. Our dinner was delicious though. Lamb chops were perfectly cooked and delicious and the sides were great. Pasta was good too but the bread that came with it was absolutely delicious. Their food is pretty expensive but fair considering the remote location. The restaurant’s vibe is quite old school though.

We had a wonderful experience at Mt. Wilson Restaurant at The Crossing Resort. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, even when it got busy with tour buses. We went many times during our stay, and it was a great change from camping food. We were lucky to get a spot by the window, which offered stunning mountain views and made our meals even better. The food was delicious and offered a good variety, though it was more expensive, which is understandable given the remote location. The restaurant also has a takeaway counter and a general store nearby, adding convenience for travelers. Overall, a fantastic place to eat in the Rockies!

Stopped here for dinner, there menu has multiple marked vegan options but this was NOT true. The saving grace was our lovely waitress who explained that no there is only one option which is vegan the vegan portobello gratin. This was ok, filled a hole but wouldn't be returning or recommending for vegans. Plus they marked the brusetta starter as vegan but the waitress told us the bread had egg in it! How unsafe if you have an allergy!! The so called vegan spring rolls are cooked with meat!! Please change your food prep or label your dishes appropriately! Plus way overpriced!

I was at this place over the weekend, and the customer service was atrocious. Two female staff members—one at the counter and the other in the restaurant—were beyond rude. There’s a small white microwave next to the tea area, and apparently, they don’t let you use it for personal items. Fine, if that’s your policy, but if people aren’t aware of it, there's absolutely no need to be rude, defensive, and aggressive about it. How about some basic respect? I can’t even imagine how these people would treat someone who doesn’t speak English as a first language.

One of the women came right up to me, all because I didn’t read some random sign about not bringing food. Instead of politely telling me the policy, she got right in my face, talking down to me like I was some kind of child. “You’re not allowed to use the microwave; we have signs everywhere!” Her behavior was absolutely disgraceful.

After leaving, I was so upset it ruined my entire trip to Banff. The anxiety this woman caused me over something as trivial as a microwave is unforgivable. This place either needs to retrain their staff on how to treat customers with a basic level of human decency, or they should hire people who know how to interact with the public without being rude and condescending. I will never stop here again, and I’m disgusted I even have to write this. Emotional damage over a...

This experience, never again This was hands down one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The service was slow and unprofessional, the food was terrible, and the décor looked like it hadn’t been updated in decades.

I ordered the Caesar salad and French onion soup – both were way too salty. The Caesar dressing was so thick and strange it was nothing like any Caesar I’ve ever had (and not in a good way).

The buffet was closed before the posted time, leaving us with even fewer options.

Worst of all, they let us add a tip without telling us gratuity was already included. That “oversight” cost us an extra $80 money that feels completely stolen.

Save your time, your money, and your taste buds, eat...
