We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. Chef Dino was shockingly rude—when we politely asked for more gravy on the poutine (which was dry and tasteless), he yelled from the kitchen that it was “enough.” Not only was the poutine underwhelming, but the chicken sandwich we ordered was cold. When we asked how to eat it, we were told we could microwave it ourselves—seriously?

The prices were way too high for the quality and service we received. No one asked whether our order was dine-in or takeout, which just added to the confusion. The only saving grace was the girls at the front—they were clearly new, but at least they were trying to help.

Overall, not worth the money or the attitude. Would...

We stopped for lunch and had the most disappointing and expensive meal we have ever encountered. The meat in the burger was raw. The Mexican poutines were covered in meat and gross runny salsa. The fries were undercooked and the meat had a bad taste. The pies and baked goods were old hard and had an odd chemical taste. The carrot cake was vile. The cashier pushed the tip option and yelled out loudly the list of items that were on our families trays. All of this costed over 200 dollars amd we couldn't eat it. We left all feeling nauseous from the couple bites we had. 100 percent do not recommend. You would be better off have a bag of chips and skip the...

Ordered mexi poutine but got classic easy mistake not an issue, but thought it would be a simple process to just pay the difference for what I wanted, well what a disaster !! This Asian lady is crazy she was angry demanding to know who put my order through slating him and getting other staff members to punish him in public, very awkward to watch. She couldn’t even do a simple transaction the difference was all of 3$ and it took around 15 minutes to resolve the issue. I feel sorry for the people who have to work in this little place with this...

Its an oasis in the middle of nowhere food, gas & Lodging. Location was great, restrooms can get bit over clouded specially when the tourist busses pull up. Got our selves some hotdogs, fried chicken and waffle fries. chicken was a bit overcooked & the prices are a bit steep. Hot Chocolate was spot on! (love it!) didn't venture into the restaurant $$$ just wanted to have a quick bit and get back on the road. Gas station is full service. they were great & the young girl that checked us out was awesome.

This restaurant is in a great location but is truly terrible. The place looks old and rundown, and the staff acts like they're annoyed people came in. Unfortunately, visitors don’t have many other options nearby, so if you’re hungry, you’ll eat here. They take advantage of this by charging overly high prices, and quality is definitely lacking. Also, be careful—bears have been spotted just behind the buildings, likely drawn by food left outside, so stay alert.
