Peace Garden — Restaurant in Alberta

I would leave it a few extra stars since our service was great but the food was by far the worst I've been served in a restaurant before. I felt bad wasting so much food and $120 but no one in my family found their food edible, we ate what we could but it was very hard to palate. None of the Western Chinese food tasted like anything I'd had anywhere else before. The chicken and vegetables for the BBQ chicken meal were severely overcooked, the chicken in the fried rice was crunchy, everything was just... gross. With enough hot sauce the wonton soup was all we almost enjoyed. Went there for dinner January 1 2023, I understand that it was the only place that was open in the town, we waited 25 minutes before our order was taken, we had soup to start, and waited for another 30 minutes for the soup, while others were being served who came in after us, then after being full on soup my order came but it was completely wrong,so after sending it back for correction waited another 20 minutes,only for them to bring back the same incorrect order, by this time I had no appetite and just walked out, I told my partner nor to accept my order nor to pay for it, so after 1.5 hours and then some not impressed poor food, poor service , would not...

One star is far too much for this place. Food was garbage and female server who I assume was the owner would have been fired from any other restaurant. She threw the food on the table. When we asked for the bill, that was a twenty minute ordeal as she was standing around yelling in the back.

When we did get the bill, it was twenty dollars more than it should have been. When asked about it, was told to either pay or she would call the police.

Stay as far away from this place as humanly possible. Next time we will try TJ’s when we are in...
