Subway — Restaurant in Alberta

This is the best subway I've ever been to, no lie. Everything was fresh, like very fresh. They asked if I wanted Parmesan and oregano on my wife's pizza sub. I've been to probably a hundred subways and never been asked that. Our subs were actually made with care and not whipped together. Asked for extra pickles and for the first time in a long time didn't have to essentially explain what 'extra' means. Restaurant and bathrooms were spotless and very new. It's 10 seconds drive off the highway and I'll be stopping there every time I pass by and I'm the least bit hungry. In fact I'll plan ahead to be hungry, lol. I very rarely write reviews unless the place is horrible or above and beyond acceptable. Every subway should be judged against this one. My 7 year old girl loves subway so I've been to them more than I would have on my own. I've had less than good experiences at some subways so started to go elsewhere. Too bad there not all...

I would give this a 1 if it wasn’t for one employees customer service saving my experience. I came through on my way back from family camping on the long weekend Monday and it was very busy. The girl where you ordered ,I believe she had cats on her name tag, seemed as though it was rude of me and my family to want to order sandwiches. We spent over $70 on food that pays your wages. At least the girl at the till was great and friendly, despite it being busy, she was kind, accurate, asked us how our experience was and informed us about the points app as we frequent subway as a family a lot. We appreciated Graces customer service after being treated like inconveniences when we got to order. Maybe some of the employees need a refresher on customer service. We had some coupons mailed to us from Subway and hadn't been there in a long time. Because of the coupons we figured we would stop to get some subs on our drive to Dinosaur Park. We adjusted our order from what we would typically get to take advantage of the offer and found out once I was paying that this location was refusing to accept the coupons. I explained that I would have ordered less had I known that. The manager refused to accept the coupon. I ended up getting food that I did not need and had to pay full price. Don't send me coupons if you do not honour them! And be reasonable with customers in the future! Horrible service. Thank goodness it is not close by so it will be no effort to never go back.
